Louise & Nick
Tournerbury Estate
A wedding by the sea capturing the last of the Summer and the sun did indeed shine with a gentle breeze at the wonderful Tournerbury Estate.
A gorgeously delicate colour palette of greens, ivories and just a hint of pink with a natural simplistic style for Louise & Nick. Hops also played a part as a memory gesture for loved ones no longer here.
Louise first visited me with a request to design hanging hoops from the ceiling of the marquee and we spent a while finding some wonderful wooden hoops shipped from Germany, before we chose the flowers and greenery to decorate them, finished with natural hessian ribbon with trails. When these were attached to the marquee, they gently moved which created a wonderful effect.
Louise also purchased her own metal archway which we decorated for the ceremony and then moved to the reception area. We reused the lanterns up the aisle as table centres.
Louise has her bouquet, scented with Velvet Rose fragrance as her forever keepsake from her day. They hired everything else from us, creating a no waste wedding.
Sophie & Jed
Tithe Barn, Ditcham
Sophie & Jed wanted a very natural feel to their wedding and were very keen to be as eco conscious as possible. They chose to hire our white blossom trees with fairy lights which were used for the aisle and then on the tables afterwards, creating a high impact display and filling the large barn space effectively.
Sophie & her 6 bridesmaids had gorgeous faux flower & foliage bouquets in ivories and touches of soft blue with lots of texture and fragranced with peach champagne, green tea & tuberose. Jed also had his buttonhole fragranced with tuberose. Sophie chose to have a large bouquet and this was no problem with faux flowers because they are so light to carry. Her bridesmaids had their bouquets as gifts to keep after the day.
Amarie & Aiden
Blacknest
Amarie came to me with definitive ideas. ‘Go big or go home’. So that’s what we did!
A classic palette of ivory, white and soft greens with huge blousy blooms of hydrangeas, roses, sweet peas, waxflower and gypsophila to name a few. Offset with gentle tones of eucalyptus green and sage.
Amarie’s wonderful large style bouquet was scented with Water Lily & Rose and because it was all created with faux flowers and greenery, was light and easy to carry. She has her bouquet to keep forever, along with the bridesmaid’s posies which they got to keep and take home.
The pavilion at Blacknest was swathed in a huge display with armfuls of blooms and greenery on a beautiful sunny day, but no worries about wilting flowers! Our lanterns lined the aisle and their tables in the tipi were decorated with garlands of flowers and greenery with fairy lights and led lights in vintage holders. The top table had a 14ft long table display with flowers and foliage entwined with fairy lights.
A beautiful classic wedding with all the venue/ceremony decoration and flowers hired from us and reused. Another no waste wedding.
Holly & Lloyd
Silchester Barn
Animal loving couple Holly & Lloyd tied the knot at beautiful Silchester Barn on a very warm sunny day in the height of Summer. Their gorgeous colour palette was a misty blend of shades of purple with damson and lilac tones offset by silvery wild style greenery. They wanted a very relaxed feel to their flowers with lots of texture and interest. This included different varieties of lavender, silvery foliage in the form of senecio and eucalyptus, anemones, waxflower and larkspur to name a few.
We were all so relieved that with such a hot Summer’s day the faux flowers would of course look beautiful regardless of the weather. Holly and Lloyd later told me nobody could believe they weren’t real! After their wonderful wedding Holly and Lloyd opted to return all the hired reception decoration back to us – everything they hired was reused and repurposed, creating no waste.
Holly is still enjoying her keep forever wedding bouquet which was fragranced with Tea Rose, Tuberose & Lemon Verbena.
Leanne & Chris
Farbridge
A beautiful sunny summer wedding at Farbridge for Leanne & Chris. Leanne had some wonderful ideas for her wedding with ribbons and colours and her whimsical, country meadow vibe fitted right into the setting of Farbridge.
Using different colour tones and textures we chose a wide variety of seasonal blooms including lavender, roses, scabious, thistles, delphiniums, waxflower, gypsophila, berries, hydrangea, eucalyptus and hedgerow greenery.
Leanne wanted a large and natural bouquet with trails of ribbon. Using all faux flowers her bouquet was light to carry and scented with their chosen wedding fragrance of Champagne and Water Lily.
We designed a beautiful arch of meadow flowers framing the doorway at Farbridge to create a wow factor. Table centres of tall vases with ribboning and meadow flowers created an informal table setting.
All the venue flower designs were hired, so all the flowers, vases, ribbons reused.
Naomi & Lloyd
Elmers Court
Naomi & Lloyd married by the sea in a beautiful setting at Elmers Court. They came to visit me with one request – happy and colourful flowers! So that’s what we did. Working together we collated a beautiful selection of summer flowers and foliage in the brightest, happiest colours with a natural boho feel. Sunflowers, lavender, delphiniums, dahlia, buttercups and daisies were just a few of the wonderful range of faux flowers that created their happy wedding flower palette. We filled many little jars, bottles and vintage containers with their happy flowers and mixed these with eclectic vintage tea light holders and natural wood slices for table decorations.
Naomi wanted an oversized boho bouquet full of impact and it was fragranced with Green Tea, Water Lily and Champagne. All of her bridesmaids had pretty bouquets with lace trails and kept their bouquets as a gift keepsake.
